We started the day thinking we were going to golf. After driving what seemed like hours and along several country roads (following the route from Google Maps) we arrived at the Garden Valley Golf Resort outside Lindale, TX. The Rusk Penitentiary is now the State Hospital. Anyway, the train runs on Friday and Saturday from Rusk to Palestine and back. So now we'll just watch a little TV then turn in. Not sure what we'll do tomorrow, but there are a couple of things in Alto I want to see, so we'll flip a coin or ...

Back in Texas!

Today we stayed in Gladewater, Tx. We stayed in Shallow Creek RV Park which is absolutely one of the best RV Parks we have ever stayed at. It is so clean and neat and roomy! Many college students have RV's here while attending college. It is a beautiful day. I caught up on laundry once again. Just a nice relaxing ...
