    My parents don't stop, they are amazing... like the bees in the lavender, they never stop... their garden is a marvel... after watering a bit and moving things around, he grilled some meat and we ate dinner while they are watching basketball play offs.

    Tomorrow I am off to Corvallis for a mini reunion with amigos from Oregon State University back to the Gap on Monday.

    After seven days on the road it was time to take a break. No alarm clock this morning, leisurely showers, and a nice breakfast was wonderful.     ... we arrived at that curve and the GPS indicated we were higher! How can we be going down and being told at the same time we getting higher it was the weirdest affect. Dave was absolutely sure the GPS was broken, but altitude signs along the road confirmed the GPS accuracy. It was really weird. Finally we passed a sign that confirmed the 'summit' Yeah!
