    ... a great store and a great tour of their factory...making chocolates, caramel corn, cookies, pears and putting it all into gift baskets. 1600 employees..up to 8000 at Christmas time.

    After a long drive from California we arrived at Joe Creek Waterfalls RV Park just north of Grants Pass and we LOVE it here. It's quiet, rustic but clean and tidy, surrounded by trees and nature. And it's a beautiful, completely clear, nice warm day. They offer monthly rates here so this is definitely on my list for that.     ... We met up with Butch and Connie here and renewed or friendship and laughs. Played some shuffle board in the Elks and Sequence in the HB. Got the dreaded call from Marianne that Don had passed away yesterday, Sept 30. He leaves a big whole in this world. I'm so so sad.     ... California, Napa and Sonoma. And we began to drive through foothills and then there was a bridge over water and it was beautiful. So we got off I-5 and took a winding dirt road to the waterside below. It was Turntable Bay which is a finger of Shasta Lake.
