... Alex and Jamie who had of course grown up a lot in 3 years, as have our boys, with Matthew towering over all of us. It is Christmas Eve and we are making our final preparations. The presents are going around the tree, and a special dinner is in the oven (Quiche Lorraine - perhaps not too Christmas Eve-y, but it was something that we could all agree sounded good!).

We have no stockings to hang, so don't know if Father Christmas will visit, but one never knows. We do have a chimney, even if we couldn't get a fire going ...
