... and then suggested James lead us in the exhort. James kindly asked if we might have a reading first which seemed to click Nelson back into the gear and the meeting got back in track :)
After the meeting we enjoyed a nice lunch together before we headed to the estuary. (We had been leant the estuary to make it easier with the kids). As we left Fezy asked us what time we would be coming back the next day as the crèche kids wanted to practise they're concert ...

BEC Grand Opening!

... week begins, I thought by now we might be in some sort of routine, but I don't think there is such thing as a volunteer. Today was the opening of the new BEC in Laimontville township which called for a busy day getting it ready. Us ladies spent all morning in the BEC, which is a converted shipping container with shelves and a small area for table and chairs, covering and sorting books for the library. We woke at 6.30am to 70 year old Nelson vacuuming the hall, it seemed to take so long... and he would turn it off and then back on and off...and on. Lucky he's the sweetest man :) James started the day with a driving lesson with Nelson while Naomi and I taught Sunday School, only 3 girls turned up and I taught a lesson on feeding the five thousand. ... surfaced a bit earlier than Richard and I but five minutes later I was glad we surfaced too as I was really cold. Getting back onto the boat was not as easy with cold legs as I kept getting cramp in my toes! We all agreed we’d had two fun dives as we surfed our way back into shore but for Cat and I we were disappointed that we’d not seen some bigger sea life.
