The walls was painted with some fantastic art work (some of which was still getting painted) featuring all sorts of things in one huge abstract piece of art, including Elvis, Michael Jackson, Star Wars characters, cartoon characters, the planes hitting the twin towers, film stars and all sorts of strange stuff. ... crash helmet probably won't give a lot of protection if you hit a hidden underwater rock. We'd rather be chugging along and enjoying the scenery. Kae, our Boatman- guide, pointed out a rock which looks like a dog ....a labrador in fact!

Day 59 - On the road again! The six of us fly to Chiang Rai for a bit of northern culture. We take two taxis to the hotel and the Clayton's seem to have the chatty / nosey driver. He wanted to know how many daughters Dad has, so that he could marry his son off! He tells us that all his money goes to paying for his son's university education.
