Our other visit was to the Black House, by the artist Thawan Duchanee. We didn’t enjoy this place as much, not attracted by all the animal skins, skulls, etc. that the artist seems to enjoy; however the buildings were in a nice garden which made for a pleasant stroll.

Our visit to Chiang Rai had reached the end… time to move on to Chiang Mai now!

... 30 pills was 300 Baht ($9 US), crazy cheap! After all the walking I went for a 1 hour oil massage. Nice and relaxing. I then picked up my laundry, took a shower and headed out for dinner. Stopped by a street cart for some sort of sausage. Different but good. Then headed to the same restaurant as the first night and got the green curry with rice again. Awesome! ... here so we didn't get much use out of the pool and lounging area. We checked out and headed back into town to return the bike. I thought we might get a few looks carrying 4 rucksacks on board the ped, I couldn't have looked more insane trying to balance my gigantic bag but I suppose it's no different from carrying a cage of parakeets, or a pot of noodles and a newborn baby.
