... 3.40 train to Milan. This is our last train of interrailing:( Can't say it's our favourite though, in fact it's probably the worst. The air conditioning consists of windows and the leather seats are not the nicest to sit on in the sweltering heat. Lucy thinks she is going to die, or she did until she fell asleep anyway. Emma's blond hair attracted some more strange Italian youths who wished her a 'goodbye princess' several times which woke her ...

Currently we are sat on the bus coming back to the hostel from sirmione. It had been suggested to us as one of the quieter beaches of Garda. Maybe the receptionist got the wrong end of the stick as it definitely wasn't a quiet area. However it was pretty and the water was a lot nicer than Peschiera, so we've decided to forgive him. Finding our hostel was easy using the signs they have usefully placed directing us to there. Wish every hostel was that easy to find. Still enough time to get very hot though. We went straight to the lake. Pretty but not quite lake bled style. We are in the tourist resort area, but we didn't ...

... became to drive to Sirmione instead! It's a beautiful medieval little historic town at the South of the Lake that sits on a tiny little island at the end of a narrow strip of land about 20-30 mins drive away. The entrance to the island is guarded by a beautiful castle built in 1277 complete with moat and guarding the tiny little entrance way to the village - no way Mike could drive the caravan through here! It was really busy so we had parked on the edge of the town ...

Today we went to Sarnico again as there was something called "Artisti di Strada". Basically there are markets and stalls and street performers everywhere on the streets! We went with Diego and Elisa! :) As we drove there, we were stopped by the Carabinieri as there was an accident on the road. The funny thing was, they didn't close off the whole road. The people before us were just guided around the accident to keep the flow of traffic moving. The only reason we had to stop was because ...
