We stopped about 4 miles in to sync up with Ryan. We had quite a bit of road/gravel road ...

The water their didn't look very appetizing so we decided to move ahead and find water elsewhere. The perfect resting and water fill creek was found at mark #7 on the Hoosier Hiking Councils map. We saw many other creeks that entire day but not as nice as this one.

... to have come down with the flu, so we are hoping that he will be able to make it out in a few days. But flu symptoms and flying for 27 hours were not a combination he really wanted to try, so he is staying home for the day. Hopefully it's a short lived bug and he is able to join us shortly! Greg, Cari, Paul and Jan should be in Australia by this time. Today it is Mom, George and myself making the trek! Wish us luck!
