    ... to go back to Siem Reap to teach) and were paying less than two pounds each a night!!! Bargain !!! We had heard loads about the famous night market in Trat so that's where we headed for dinner. And the market did not disappoint, fresh fruit, food, smoothies and milkshakes and bakery everywhere !!!     ... We try the upstairs which looks cool but has a near vertical staircase. This is not where we're getting ****** tonight. We opt for the lounge seating and it's surprisingly quiet which we pit down to being day 2 after a party. Blonde bird manages to flag down more people along with careful cornering. Some escape.     ... us realise how protected we are in the UK, where Health & Safety would have closed off the whole village long ago.

    We did a half day trek in the jungle and saw 2 tarantulas. I now know how to spot their nests. Unfortunately the camera struggled with the humidity so we didn't get a good picture. On our bungalow wall we had a 15 centimetres long stick insect visit for most of one day. He must be the most photographed stick insect ever as he didn't move so provided a perfect subject ...
