    First few weeks in Barbados

    ... a result of having poor technique and bad timing. The waves are VERY strong. I ended up getting some tips from a local, and from a guy from England. The tips helped even though I still kept losing my bottoms and getting eaten up by the waves. I did manage to catch a lot of good waves when I wasn't being tossed around. I also managed to eat a lot of salt water and get sand in every crevice of my body hahaha.

    ... on Barbados (A great beer if you ever get the chance to sample some, we did, often)! Unfortunately they weren't selling any haddock or cod so we had to make do with red snapper and marlin, washing it down with Barbados Mount Gay Rum - was fab, wondered whether Jamie Oliver fancied coming down here and getting involved, we suspect he'd get a far friendlier reception than he did on Sicily.     ... he changed it to "For it will take a big **** on any Sherlock-its" which drew tremendous laughter and cheering on our Worrellite side. The treasure hunt was like Carpe Noctum at UCLA, only the campus is half as big and not uphill. The prize was also just a cookie. Still the humidity was killer and we didn't finish until after 11 PM. They then decide that morning grub line will be at 5 instead and we play games like tug of war and 3-legged races, which were fun but we all just wanted to go back to ...
