Before I get to that, need to talk about my wet morning. Nope - no rain - just apparently didn't twist the cap on my camelback (drinking water bladder that sits in backpack) on correctly, so, when I tipped my pack on its side to pack to leave this morning, I had a liter of water immerse the entire pack. Oops. It looked like I wet my bunk bed ;(. Luckily, the beds have plastic liners, and luckily most all of my stuff is in plastic bags. But the pack was soaked through, so I used ...

I have a video of his "charade language" (that's the best way to describe it) on my camera. Can't post, but will share when I get home ;)

Sadly we left Combarro and headed south for the next Ria. There was little bit of wind so we got a pretty decent sail in.

... going to the old town -some 2 miles away so we took a taxi.

The old town is great, comparable to Santiago but with less churches and more administrative buildings. There was a mixture of styles. Very atmospheric - we finding that towns /villages are alive between 12 and 3pm (i.e. while shopping and eating) and then they are like ghost towns until ...

... ended up anchoring off Combarro and this anchorage was half stunning and half industrial with the paper mill on one side heard and seen in the background.

The following day we took the dinghy and ventured into the village and boy what a village this is. The old town is just gorgeous with it's grain stores, farm/ plots, hidden chapels and unusual architecture. we just love it!!!!
