... Venice. The only way you can get into Venice is by boat / ferry. Headed across and poked around. Really pretty at night. We stopped into a cafe for a drink and a snack. On the way to Venice we stopped off at Verona. We were of course wearing our summer clothes so got very caught out when it poured rain! We went past Romeo and Juliet's balcony and had some pizza. We stayed in little cabins on a camping ground near Venice, which had a really good atmosphere. We also ran into Myles' housemate again! I grabbed some lovely Prosciutto flavored chips, and we proceeded to guess as to whom our hostess could be since we had no means of communication with ...

... a bit different! We took some snaps of the cute canal ways, picked up a slice of pizza and sat on the steps of a bridge to eat it! Lovely! We are considering an ultra early start to get down to the main bridge for sunrise photos, or maybe just photos without people because it seems like it might get quite busy during the day. You can look forward to tomorrow's blog to see if we manage to get up or not! Bon nuit! (Still got some Italian to learn ...
