    ... desert later in the evening. All in all we could not have asked for friendlier and more accommodating people. During our Northern American travels we have experienced such friendliness and more than any of our previous trips.

    ... amazed by the competence, or lack of, of the general population. Today was no exception. A few near misses and a bump (none involving us thank goodness) and a huge number of semis, as usual. The speed the semis travel at is somewhat concerning and the photo is of a 'house' moving at the speed of 100kms+.
