    ... and the parkway was there. Ok, I was expecting something more, but it was just another two lane road in a park. The road was good, very little in the way of warnings though.     ... so left for the Bayport inn where it was time to eat. I decided to start with a chow crowder soup and followed that with coconut shrimps with a portion of fries, Di went for the Tuna sandwich which was huge! After eating our fill it was off to 'Sams' at Hudson for some music and watching the sun set over the ocean.     ... Anyhow, within a couple of hours of arriving at hospital she was rushed off to surgery… Diagnosis: ruptured appendix!!! The guesstimate was that it had ruptured maybe 5 days prior and an abscess the size of a baseball had attached to her colon and contained all the infection so it didn’t travel through her body. Now we all were of the assumption that appendicitis would have one doubled over in excruciating pain so it wasn’t even on ...

    ... were my Christmas gift from Honey. We really wanted all the family here but it did not work out for the rest. We were so thankful Tara and gang could make it here.
