    ... itself was massive. We had a walk through the town to try and find somewhere to eat and stumbled across this beachside deli called Britt's Pizza. It was a very unassuming place, but my oh my was the food there great ! Emma had settled on having ice cream for lunch and was served with a giant scoop of chocolate and rocky road.     ... Anyhow, within a couple of hours of arriving at hospital she was rushed off to surgery… Diagnosis: ruptured appendix!!! The guesstimate was that it had ruptured maybe 5 days prior and an abscess the size of a baseball had attached to her colon and contained all the infection so it didn’t travel through her body.
