      Decided to walk the causeway to Clearwater beach for our exercise of the day. We tend to walk the beach out there a few times a week so thought it might be fun...Tour boats and recreational boats are just heading out ...At noon when we head back to Dunedin the entire mile and a half of the causeway is backed up with people driving over to the beach...and trying to find parking...Sunday ...

      ... some internet sloughing for other sights to see...St Patricks day we were in the center on Dunedin attired in our greens. They definitely do it up big here. Flan****ns bar sponsors the event with cordoned off streets and 2 larges stages with Irish entertainers, pipe bands, and dancers.       Monday 16/3 - After fueling up we headed off to Tampa or more specifically Tarpon Springs which is a small Greek fishing village about 20 miles north of Tampa. It was recommended to us by some people we met on the cruise. Our GPS said it would be a 1 hr 45 min drive but it ended up taking us 2 1/2 hours due to traffic leaving Orlando and then around Tampa. The amount of traffic congestion is just amazing considering the roads are 3 and 4 lanes wide in one direction ...

      ... Anyhow, within a couple of hours of arriving at hospital she was rushed off to surgery… Diagnosis: ruptured appendix!!! The guesstimate was that it had ruptured maybe 5 days prior and an abscess the size of a baseball had attached to her colon and contained all the infection so it didn’t travel through her body. Now we all were of the assumption that appendicitis would have one doubled over in excruciating pain so it wasn’t even on ...

      ... were my Christmas gift from Honey. We really wanted all the family here but it did not work out for the rest. We were so thankful Tara and gang could make it here. I couldn’t imagine Christmas without them. So once they got here it was crazy non- stop busy!! This was their vacation and they had plenty they wanted to see and do.
