    While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement.     ... to the international terminal at about 7:45am. We were able to quickly check in...clear customs with Express Passes (Thank you, Dave's SkyMiles status) and make our way to the lounge area. We decided to try out the American Express lounge which was nice. I had a mimosa as my personal send off from lovely Australia. We also checked out the SkyTeam lounge which was new and large.     And I finally found a hat at REI. It is packable so that is good and will offer some good sun protection in those hot SE Asian countries!
    I've started laying things out to put in my suitcase and I'm getting a little concerned about that 20 inch suitcase!!! Craziness!!! Who on earth can live out of a 20 inch suitcase ...
