At our first night at an airbnb, we were made to feel very welcome by Vicki and Buddy, they showed us to a very lovely large bedroom with an onsuite. Having slept very well the next morning we left early for Gatlinburg, the second attempt! No short cuts, no scenic routes just the Interstate all the way. We had to pass through Pigeon Forge and we were amazed by the buildings ( if you can call them that ). A play ground ...

We really didn’t want to deal with the traffic again and it also took us through places we had not ...

... About 30 minutes into Tennessee we saw a sign that warned of slow traffic ahead. Sure enough, as we rounded the next corner there were two lanes full of brake lights. Dang it. I hate traffic delays. We were slow and go for the next few miles and it was all because of a bridge construction project. It was pretty orderly and before long we were back up to highway speeds.

We got off at Exit 407, which had a lot of construction going on and only one ...

... and grateful that fans enjoy his music. For a 53-year old, he puts everything into his music and makes no bones about how exhausting his on-stage moves are. Tricia Yearwood (Mrs. Brooks) performed her hits, also the ones we know by heart. Hearing her on tape is not the same as hearing her in person – she has a truly beautiful, pure voice and ...
