... history to visit Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum in search of the burial site of one of Patty's ancestors. We had a section and lot number. We did not have a map. That proved to be a problem. We drove around and around and around without ever seeing any section markers. We found Orville and Wilbur's graves, but not the one we were looking for. Maybe we should have done a little more research :0). We may try again tomorrow.

          Otherwise we continue heading ...

... IL was a high point for us in Illinois!

One of the highlights of the week was a two night stop at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton OH. Bobbi had a great time SHOPPING at the Base Exchange and Commissary, which was one of the largest facilities we have seen. We spent a very short 3 hours touring the National Museum of the Air Force (spectacular!) which we had never even heard of before we arrived here! ...

In our travels in and around Dayton, we've seen huge shopping malls and big name stores all boarded up and closed. Whole areas all closed up and abandoned. It's like a ghost town. But, on a positive spin, we ...

... construction zones listening to the CB and all the nonsense the truckers talk about...there was a debate about whether it's legal to drive down the road naked. The consensus was, if you are in your own truck, it should be. When a lane is closing, the truckers will pull out to block those guys that try to scoot past everyone and pull in at the last minute so they are closer to the front of the line of traffic...We've seen this before, but ...

We stopped for the night in Cincinnati and unloaded the car to repackage and get ready for the big sale. The 127 yardsale starts this morning and it's raining. It's ok we have seen so much so far and had great weather. A little rain will not hurt ...
