    ... we headed across the bridge to the Engineering quad.

    We ate our lunch sitting on rocks in the corner of the quad near Upson Hall, home of the Mechanical Engineering school, my old haunt. Gone were the avenue of trees that had lined the edges of the quad, but now that I think of it, bulldozers were already positioned in the quad ready to tear out the trees the day after we were there for my reunion in 2006.

    It's been a few days since I could update the blog, my phone died Tuesday evening and I couldn't recover it until we got to St. Louis! Then Thursday we had very little service on the drive to northern Arkansas and no service or wireless at our condo! Craziness! But now were back home and I'm going to finish out the blog with the remainder of our stops...

    ... his hostel to see how he was doing. Had chills and fever and head all stuffy with cough. He took a long nap when we left and was feeling some better when he awoke. Austin just took the bus to bring him here tonight so he can rest better and go with us on a tour to the Giants Causeway tomorrow and several other places. All day tour so will be tired upon return.
