Here's our own personal impressions of the provinces we visited.
Ontario had the best recycling program. Absolutely everything gets recycled - wet paper, dry paper, lawn clippings, cardboard, glass, aluminum, you name it - it gets recycled. Special blue bags are used for the trash and you'd best bring your own grocery bag to the store or you'll get charged. (Thanks Karen for giving us our own grocery bags.)

... This morning I stopped by to see Gramp again before hitting the road to Cincinnati. I'm so grateful I was able to see him on my trip. Definitely a highlight. I was on the road by 11 this morning and arrived in Cincinnati by 7:30. It rained for the last hour of the drive, which was a drag but I was thankful it wasn't the whole way. ... Tuesday we slept in and were treated to amazing food all day! In the morning Russ headed out to check out the Air Force museum which was just a few miles away.
