We went to church at the Old Evangelical Reformed Church in. Uelsen today with the De Vries (Masselink) family and the Kronemeyer family. The pastor delivered the sermon in German, then welcomed the Masselinks from the USA and summarized the sermon for us in English. So cool! It was good to see the Germans avoid the first five rows of the church just like the Americans, the latecomers have to sit up in front. Trying to sing ...

... iPhone which was good to learn about the churches and buildings. There was one very intriguing church; st. Lamberts church, 3 cages hang high above this gothic based architecture to symbolise where the three leaders from the Munster rebellion were kept - very eerie looking. All 3 of the adults enjoyed a chicken burger for lunch which was really good and we had a sneaky ice cream to end the day which was fun. It's always good fun watching kids enjoy their ice cream.
