Impiana Phuket Cabana Resort & Spa Patong

As two early thirthy independant travs.1M/1F we loved it. I have worked most of my career in 5 star australian resorts and knowing what they have to work with i was smiling all the way from the cool towels and rose water at check in, to the check out we thought was a day later!

Very easy to lose youself here, the location is fab. and the beach deluxe rooms awesome. (open bathroom plan with no pvt toilet to note).Beach hawkers are everywhere, but hey, they still sell good stuff at neg. prices, including an aloe vera rub with fresh aloe!

Seriously though, we have started planning our next trip and impiana is our first port of call.

Drink service around pool not great, but just let them know what your after and they WILL be back all day

*We went there to pamper ourselves in their spa and dine in their restaurants, but found ourselves massaging on the beach and eating in out of town local hangouts, made it that more more enjoyable*

My husband, myself and two friends have just arrived home from two weeks staying at the Impiana Phuket Cabana. From the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough to please us. As it was early morning, our rooms were not vacant so they gave us another room to use in the meantime. The weekly complimentary cocktail party was a great way to meet other guests. The pool area is great. Although not a large pool it is more than adequet as the beach is right there as well. We had lots of fun during the day lounging at the pool, doing the occasional shopping from the beach hawkers, and chatting to fellow guests. This would be the holiday remembered by the number of different people we met while swimming at the pool. The position of the hotel would have to be the best in Patong Beach. The beach restaurants next door were fabulous and very reasonable and the shopping just over the road. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is going to be visiting Phuket.

My husband and I stayed at the Impiana for two weeks in August and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

The staff were friendly yet very efficient, the rooms large, very comfortable and always clean.

The food in the hotel very good, beautifully displayed and reasonably priced.

The massages in the hotel were so much enjoyed -as were the facials.

Situated on the beach in Patong it was like an oasis, yet outside in close proximity to shops and entertainment.

This was our first time in Phuket but we will be returning to the Impiana very soon

I stayed at the Impiana for 5 days, and could not fault a single thing. The rooms being something in a league of their own were incredible, with the biggest double bed i've seen and a traditional feel to it. It was the only hotel on the beach front so you didn't have to cross the busy road to get to the beach which was great, and the staff were friendly and reliable. Only a small hitch with check in (but we were to blame for this as check in wasn't strictly until 2pm anyway), apart from that we had a very relaxing stay and were very sad to leave. Great food, great people and a great beach! Just be aware of mozzies which were there when we were there, although probably not all seasons!

We stayed in May 2006 for a 2 nights and was nowhere near long enough. We were a little nervous prior to arrival as we struggled to find any up to date information (post tsunami) on it. We understand it had been totally rebuilt - and it was fantastic!

Low rise hotel with tasteful, moden rooms and a small hotel feel. Not sure if suited for families but withe beech 10metres away from rooms and better weather than we had, who needs sparwaling pools and slides!

Great room, top quality finish and very relaxing. We didn't have the best of weather in out short spell but had a great time nonetheless. Didn't eat at the hotel (other than breakfast which was fantastic) - why would you with so many dining options in Patong.

We found the location to be absolutely superb - close enough to Patong centre to easily walk, far enough enough away to be quiet when you eventually choose to (walk) back to the hotel. Facing the beach every morning as you rise, you completely forget that the main road is just the other side of the reception.

The only reservation I have is whether our very positive opinion was tainted by the fact that we were there off-season. Dont know if I would like Patong in the height of season quite so much but for a few days at this time of year, this hotel was absolutely fantastic. We looked at lots of other more expensive hotels frurther out of town but this met out requirements of relaxation and experiencing Patong down to a luxurious tee. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at quality hotels throughout the world and this one would rate amongst the best. During our stay we checked out a number of other hotels. Some were very nice, but none could beat the Cabana for location. A few paces from our room to the beach.

The staff were nothing short of magnificent. Nothing was too much for them. Always a friendly smile. Breakfasts were excellent, relaxed overlooking the beach, eating tropical fruit.

This was our first trip to Phuket. We were a bit uncertain about where to stay. Our stay at the Cabana confirmed we couldn't have picked a better hotel. Our kids had a ball too!

For those who are looking at staying here, my advice is not to.

Mu husband brought me there for Valentine's Day. After eating their blueberry pancake, apple strudel & bread rolls, I got sick.

I had fever (38.8 degrees celsius), vomitting, lose of appetite & had severe dirrahoea for 3 days, I went to the toilet no less than 80 times in 3 days. I have never been so sick before.

The resort manager said he checked the food & there was nothing wrong with it. Basically, he did not think his resort has anything to do with it and thinks my sickness was from somewhere else. However, I only got sick after I woke up the next morning with body ache. BEWARE!

We stayed at the Impiana Cabana for 4 nights and it was no way long enough.

I found the rooms to be something I compare every other accommodation to, to this day.

Exquisite furniture, a beautiful thatched roof, very clean and new. A pleasure to stay in.

The rooms are lower level and are only a short walk to the pool and the beach.

The view when you walk out of your room is to die for.

The staff are exceptional with everything. Very friendly and helpful.

Across the road from the Impiana are the markets. You can shop till you drop. Once I walked in the area of our motel I felt safe again. Everyone harassing you for lifts or to by something immediately left you alone.

I find myself now days comparing everywhere I go to the Impiana Cabana.

The meals were nice but a bit expensive. We sat out in the open near the beach for our meals. It was exceptional.

We did not bother to venture out to look for other restaurants.

I loved the Impiana Cabana at Phuket that much that everywhere I go now is compared to there. We are going to Fiji for our honeymoon and what I have seen and researched so far, nothing compares (unless you pay top dollar).

I traveled to thailand in September 2004 with a group of 11 of us, with quite mixture in ages. The Cabana was a great place to stay it was not high rise building, they were all small bugelows inter nexting parths. Right on the beach, handy to the small resturants right on the beach

The Sabai beach resturant was our faviout because it was very cheap and the food was very good. The resort was also very close to the shopping being wright at our front door. There is pleanty of tour you can go on. The weather was very good for that time of the year, I think we only had one wet day in our ten days stay. The staff at the resort were out standing always with a smile on there face. this one place and country I will be returning as soon as I can.
