... burger and Becky went straight to Hollister! So with one full tummy and one new pair of shorts we went back 'home' and kicked back for an American TV evening. Bay News 9 is my new favourite local news channel! We also heard the sad news about Robin Williams, and the latest on all the unrest in the Middle East, Ukraine and Iraq, all a bit heavy stuff as we turned our thoughts to going to Sea World the next morning. ...

... and we were only a few minutes from getting on. Then it started raining and went dark, thunder rumbled and there was flashes of lightening. That's when they stopped running the ride and announced it would not run due to lightening in the area!! Bugger! So we waited, and waited.........and waited. The announcements said, we could stay or leave, which was really helpful! After a while we decided to head to the far end of the park for the SheiKra ride ...

... hot and humid and less hot and not-so-humid; Shoaxing, China actually has the "normal" seasons. Unfortunately, I am rather tall and big-footed even by American standards so forgetting to pack warm enough shoes for an actual winter with snow can lead to significantly less toes due to frostbite... a least I think that is what happens when your feet get really cold... At any rate, packing shoes and clothes for four seasons is a new experience for me and I'm sure I'll learn from it.

... appear on maps, there are more younger folks here than I thought, and it is the weirdest feeling in the world to put on long pants and socks after 8 days of capris and sandals. Next time, I will limit my clothing choices, mutter less about blue-rinsed grey hairs under my breath, and expand the sight-seeing agenda.
