On Wednesday, June 4, we did an 11 km Volkswalk in Medicine Hat. We were led by the local club. We walked through Kin Coulee Park; through the neighborhood on Valley View Drive; to downtown; and back to the start.

... they would stop by Tino's from a day of fishing, so they joined us for supper there as well (weird because Nova and I were just talking about Marlo and wondering what he was doing). It was a good visit and a good end to our Trip.

The drive from Jasper to Banff is certainly a beautiful one. The many mountain vistas are absolutely incredible, but we are definitely going the right direction. Both west bound lanes on the #1 Highway are steady, and at the park gates before Banff, 3 lanes of traffic are backed up bumper to bumper for at least 3 km, maybe more...traffic at a stand still almost to the ...
... alcohol sometimes.... From there another few hours drive to Medicine Hat. A nice little campsite. Mike had such a swagger when he came out of the reception... Clearly flirting with the girl behind the counter.... So funny. Different walk coming in and out. We had an english fry up for dinner which was pretty good. Lots of bacon! Not really much to report from today to be honest.... Not much happened. Tomorrow we head through Calgary to Banff! And the Rockies! So excited! ...
So, we got up fairly early to ensure that we got the free food provided at the hotel. But we also wanted to make one more shopping trip before hitting the border - Vanilla Coke and Coors were on Cytrina's list and she got those plus a couple of others. We filled up and then headed back to Canada.
It was a long day of driving (925 km) - three hours to Lethbridge to drop Cytrina ...
