    ... Jed Sy do scheduling and other computer related work, keeping her active and useful to them and herself. We were able to spend about 2 hours with her and bring in lunch and eat with her in a room in the front office. She gave me a handmade woven purse and hat to give to my wife. Dan was able to help her with some computer questions she had with some programs on the Laptop LifeNets had given her on Vic Kubik's previous visit.     ... joined us for dinner at the Marco Polo. I sat close by Ed and heard his most interesting story about his life, work and vision.

    The day was long and I was very ready to sleep...which I may have done a litle at the dinner table.....

    Tomorow is church and I look forward to meeting the group of 130 or more that will be there.

    Samal Island lies in the Davao gulf and is just about 30-45 mins boat ride away... during the island hopping, i felt so miniscule amidst so many islands and the beauty associated with each of them...
