... I started getting sick and lost my taste buds) and Ben got sausage, which turned up floating in a somewhat potty looking thing, and sauerkraut. The Beer hall was pretty amazing and gave us motivation to get to Oktoberfest next year – the waiter could carry 18 steins at once to the table! ... also stopped at a great pastry shop where we had a pretzel and coffee. We arrived at the castle area about 11:30 AM, Andy got our reserved tickets for the tour which runs every 5 minutes (ours was for 12:55 PM). Before the tour, we hiked up a steep incline (600' elevation gain) to get to Mary's Bridge for a fabulous view of the castle. Going down to the castle on a different route wasn't so bad. Took ...
... but working in the Middle East, near Dubai. What an interesting conversation we had. She works in Middle East because her father is ill and she has to make a lot of money for his health care needs. It can be a very scary place for women to live. Off to bed for our early wake up call at 6:15 am....yikes
We had a bit of trouble with the next door folks who were loud....finally at midnight I called to the front desk to complain...and things went silent quickly....good ...
... was a Munich, Prague sign post and then no more so without our maps we would have been eternally lost! Lucked out in Nandlstadt where we were planning to spend the night by pulling up at La Piazza where not only did we have a great pizza and wine, but spoke with another couple who rang a guest house 2 kms ahead and found they had rooms. Great guest house 50 Euro, beautiful room, great shower, comfy bed and tasty breakfast. Also a place to leave our bikes safely in their lock up ...
... when we saw a young man on the tram wearing them along with his leather shorts! All became very clear when we got to the beer house!
Just finished dinner; if you like pork you will love it here. Um, did I mention the beer came in 1 litre tankards. Very hard to lift one handed!

Nice walk back to tram the 15 minutes back to the Leto hotel.
