... and sing in German, and at the end everyone clanked their glasses and drank. There was a guy with a whip that would perform every 30 minutes and for like 90 seconds straight he would just crack this whip SUPER fast! It was crazy. And then a guy and a girl would also perform and the girl would spin in circles while also spinning in a giant circle around the stage. After the dinner I went back to the hotel. Planning out a big day tomorrow and per usual want to be well rested. ...

... I headed to the hoeschwanstein castle which is the older of the 2, I had been told this one had the better interior so I visited the inside of this one. this castle has been very well maintained and the art and design are almost all original and the gifts the king recieved that are on display are beyond alaborate I the explored the area a bit and then started my journey back to munich. once back in munich I picked my gear up from the hostel and jumped on the next train to salzburg ...

3. Trains - The German train system is amazing. It's so easy to get to any small town you might want to visit at a very reasonable price. We made full use and did a few day trips from Munich.

Day one-My rucksack is packed with every warm item of clothing i could find. I meet my Contiki group with gal pal Lara at 2pm to make a start on our 17 hour bus journey! We ferry from Dover to Calais in a bus predominantly filled up by Australians. Driving on the WRONG side of the road, we do a meet and greet on the bus to get to know our group a bit better and then just wait...and wait...and wait. Trying as best as we can to get some sleep in some seriously ...

... br> Today was another great day at the festival and we all lost badly – none of us could keep up and Oktoberfest won! As I’m sure it always does.

Now, finally I must express that I don’t always drink and eat this much. I defiantly don’t want to paint a bad picture - I still remain the responsible young lady that you all know me to be. HAHA, until next time my family and friends!
