Not-So-Readiness
... cultural homecoming. After all, "Alice in Wonderland" was written in England, wasn't it? It was the birthplace of the Beatles. It was a storied place. I mean, I had seen "Elizabeth" starring Cate Blanchett.

... t heard English in the streets in all our days walking. However, after saying hello and asking where we were from we discovered that they were from Montreal, on the English speaking side. We caught the Metro home.
PS writing this on the train from Montreal to Quebec and can send as there is wifi on the train. We will be in Quebec for the Quebec National Day celebrations; from all reports a pretty wild time.

... noch nichts feststellen. Auf der Straße, wo die Parade stattfinden soll, fahren noch die Autos und auch sonst kann man noch nicht erkennen, dass dort in 3 Stunden irgendetwas stattfinden soll. Nach dem Frühstück ziehe ich mir ein paar Schichten mehr an und wir machen uns zusammen mit den Jungs Richung Rue St. Catherine auf. Dort soll die Parade stattfinden.
