We had a beautiful day in Montreal. And yes , Mary Ellen it is a wonderful city. Last night we walked to Vieux Ville and had dinner. There are buildings that date back to the 1700's. Loads of people were standing around waiting until it was safe, Sam and I just found this group of big black dudes and used them as human shields!!! It was scary, however these guys were from Boston and were actually pretty cool. There were two girls with them, one was Puerto Rican and Sam kept getting her to say 'hey pappi' ha ha - ...

... I go back outside to livelier surroundings.

I walk to downtown and initially head for the contemporary art gallery. On arrival though I decide against it and continue enjoying the sun instead. Around the art centre there is a promenade and steps littered with people sunbathing and sipping iced coffee. I wander around the shops for a while until I find what I wish was my second home.

A small boutique, hidden away entices me in with its peculiar window ...
