      A Day in the Life of a Danish Student

      ... home team and people would clap and dance along to the music playing. I found it quite interesting that not only can the players receive yellow/red cards, but the coaches as well if they complain too much from the sideline about a call the referee has made. I only saw yellow cards being handed out but it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if the coach had been red-carded! Apparently, they have to go sit in the stands away from the game to cool-off!

      ... the problem.

      Living in a dorm is also quite different (as I was still living at home before the exchange). It's nice to have your own space (and bathroom!) where you can have some downtime but you can still hang out with those on your floor via the shared dining room/kitchen/lounge if you want. The dorms also have some pretty cool traditions which should make living in them quite fun. They have an event called tour de chambre, ...

      ... busy field days, collecting fish and assessing whether they are bold (e.g., will leave a shelter and explore their surroundings) or shy (e.g., they do nothing). Turns out most are shy and boring, but we thankfully we have some bold ones and we are going to try to see if their behaviour is "flexible".       ... managed to have a very nice evening in Aarhus with great friends, food and wine. It has a very old and beautiful downtown and the snowstorm that evening made it even more lovely. Hope to see everyone soon either again in Denmark or back in Canada. Thank you also to Niels and Axel for hosting me nice again. Their place feels like home here in Denmark, can't wait to see everyone again! Now off to Venice by way of Brussels... Perhaps some Easter Belgian chocolates are in Maja and my ...
