... arises, you simply switch sides. Easy! No one has right of way - everyone just pushes their way into tiny spaces which somehow turn into larger spaces, and eventually everyone gets to where they are going. I forgot to mention though that the roads are a little over the width of one car wide, and the drop off is 300metres. Yes the view was spectacular, but I was too damn scared to look at it! We slowly drove past the towns, going hard right and letting the small lorry trucks and vans go past. The towns were almost entirely locals at this time of year. ... Clearest deep bluest waters we have ever seen. 7. Cool if you have the breeze but very hot in the sun. The sun does not seem to burn us as easily as at home. 8. White clothing shops everywhere. 9. Again churches everywhere (over 300) but really small chapel like - could only fit 10-20 people in. 10. Lots of jewellery shops 11. pretty good white wine. 12. Everyone heads to the western side of the island each night for sunset. 13. footpaths are non existent. In fact roads are fairly scarce ...

... of years ago by the power of the volcano. The ocean was pretty chilly so it was nice to find the warm patches and stay there for a bit before having to swim back through the cold ocean to the boat.

We stopped at Thirasia island for lunch and some sunbaking, then we were back on the boat stopping midwater for some snaps up to the beautiful town of Oia on Santorini before heading back to Fira.

    After our active ...
