... painter! These unexpected encounters are what travel memories are made of. After three hours of solid walking, we arrived in Oia and it must be said that the views along the way were breathtaking; little wonder that it is considered one of the most beautiful walks in the world. I wish the pictures could express the wonder of this place! Picture postcards at every turn. Needing a rest after such a big effort we settled in for a ...

... us all time to unwind before the final leg which was a dinner at OIA. (Pronounces EEA) The bus took us to the northern most point of the island and we walked through streets to the lookout point gathering some excellent postcard photos along the way. ... a rocky steep path up to the summit. At the top, great views, interesting to walk around and take pictures, then coming back down, there was a massive stream of people coming up the path, it was crazy the number of people here, but then there were 3 or 4 large cruise ships in the harbor.

Once we got back to the boat we headed off and made a short trip to some hot springs. We jumped in from the boat and swam to the muddy waters of the ...

Our morning started with a quick Skype to the olds in NZ to wish mum a happy birthday. We didn't have too much goss to tell them as we had really just had a couple of quiet and relaxing days in Greece. Mum was asking 'so no more news then?'. 'No, no more news were just going to sit in the hot tub and go for a walk soon'. One look out the window and we thought we hadn't opened the curtains....it was grey and we couldn't see past ...
