... hit was one of theirs. So sad.

We wanted our friends to experience Santorini firsthand, so we took them around the now-familiar island: shopping, lunch, wandering the winding alleyways, and enjoying the many vistas from the top of this volcanic island. ... She asked how much, and I said free, since I was going that way anyway. She was so thankful and accepted. We passed her two daughters along the way, and she shouted at them that she would see them at the top. The ride was long, but eventually we made it. The day was so hot that I couldn't imagine doing the walk up. Once we arrived at the top, the woman and I parted ways, and I continued up a further walk to where the ancient city existed. Most of the ruins have since been ...

... and they turned the hot tub heater on for us, but it still felt cold. I guess we'll see tonight if its a hot tub. They also apologized for the back and forth all week. Too little, too late. We're leaving tomorrow for Athens a day earlier to get some more time at the Acropolis and other sites. We're going for dinner now in Fira.

Dinner was great and Fira was much like Oia. I would say that Fira is the Menlo Mall of Santorini ...
