Just had the best weekend with our Powell River family, but we are still wondering why we listen to Keith! He had us up at the crack of dawn Saturday morning (it was still dark) to go down to the local salmon hatchery in the hopes of seeing a bear. Apparently they frequent the area for the odd fish meal. Heute stand Vancouver Island auf dem Plan.
Was uns im Vorhinein nicht richtig bewusst war, war der große Anreiseweg zur Insel :-)
Wir mussten:
45 Minuten mit dem Skytrain fahren, dann
60 Minuten mit Bus 1,
20 Minuten mit Bus 2,
90 Miunten mit der Fähre,
45 Minuten mit Bus 3 .... um dann endlich in Victoria, der Hauptstadt Vancouver Islands, anzukommen.

Ook vandaag hebben we lekker uitgeslapen. Na even lekker te hebben gedoucht gingen we ontbijten. Danny had eitjes gekookt en toast klaar gemaakt, dus dat was weer lekker smullen. Na uitgebreid te hebben gegeten ben ik de vaat gaan doen en kijken waar we heen gingen vandaag en zou Danny gaan douchen. Maar na 5 minuten komt hij de kamer weer in dat hij de kraan niet open krijgt. Hahaha. Je hebt hier in hendel die je moet draaien, maar het ziet eruit als zo'n kraan die je moet duwen ...
And on the second day
... long ago, that night I could have mistaken the Canucks for a team that had been playing hockey for a couple of weeks. Luckily, my Sister and Dad hadn't seen Vancouver on form, so there for it was a great experience for all of us.
