... centre, having lunch and then spending early afternoon in the giant arcade in the shopping centre. It was huge! I have never seen an arcade like it, we had so much fun and we won a bouncy ball that we then went to the beach and played with! Later we came back to the hostel and had dinner and are currently watching telly. Tomorrow we head to Brisbane for 4 days so I'm sure I'll have lots to talk about. Lots of love, Ellie and dan ...

      ... an overhaul.

We left then and walked up to the Q1 building which has a 360 view of the Gold Coast from the 77th floor. We headed up to the observation deck where we took in the spectacular view and had a bit of a snack. There was also a movie about how the Gold Coast came into existence as well as what it's famous for. Did you know that Billabong board shorts and the subsequent company were first created and founded in Surfers Paradise? I didn't, but I do now. ...
