    ... there is at least some shade.

    The first thing you notice about the beach is that the sand is ******* hot. And I mean hot enough I was surprised it hadn't turned into glass. I once again thank God for my Crocs as it appears that they will be used both in and out of the water. It is actually quite funny to watch the tourists all trying to take on the sand. I mean, we all think, yeah its hot, but it will be ok. Let me tell you here - do not have bare feet on ...

    We arrived in Rhodes at around 7am, but disembarked at about 8.30, I wasn't really sure what to expect from Rhodes, but was pleasantly surprised! Its a medieval island and has an awesome beach, with a diving ledge!

    ... in Greece and Turkey. This time, I wouldn't be a teaching assistant, but I would be responsible for organizing the group's movements and activities. There were two teachers, 24 students and a TA, Deb Camileri. The students were taking, appropriately, Ancient Civilaztions. We spent two weeks in Greece and two weeks in Turkey.
