... we were out of change (thus no way to tip him), so we ran across the street to the Avocado Restaurant and ordered their amazing chocolate dessert to go. ... which is very spread out, up and down many hills. Lots of very old buildings, interspersed with very new architectural gems which fit in with the overall scheme of things (even the McDonalds). Weather: glorious. Slip, slop, slap.
6.30am arrived at the Island of Crete where we disembarked at Ag. Nikolaos (means Saint Nicholas) where Olive Oil products are paramount. The Cretan diet is known as one of the healthiest diets in the world (1/3 largest).
