    ... or a good place just to enjoy a glass of wine and a mere feast! I think the heat is dreadful ! In Corfu the language is Greek and they use the Euro.     We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
    The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...
