Mas foi uma escolha maravilhosa.
Nós resolvemos ir à Coimbra.
Como não estava nos planos rodamos a cidade toda para encontrar um hotel.
E por fim escolhemos o mais belo!

Barb's Notes:

It's been a long day, Almost 13 hours after boarding our coach this morning we arrived at tonight's accommodation. Not where originally planned but about 25 klms from Coimbra at the Melia Palacio Da Lousa Boutique Hotel. A majestic old palace, quite extraordinary.

Along the way we had several stops. The first at Avila an old walled city and we walked to the old Convent where St Teresa is ...

I thought I was used to getting stared at in Salamanca, but these people took it to a whole other level! ... dei pipistrelli che mangiano gli insetti che potrebbero attaccare la carta dei libri.
Sotto la Biblioteca si trovano poi le prigioni accademiche che erano riservate agli studento o professori dell'universita' che non venivano rinchiusi nelle prigioni normali con i comuni detenuti.

Abbiamo poi deciso di tornare presto in albergo perche' eravamo stanchissimi ed avavamo bisogno di un pisolino.
