... br> At least the ferry across was free and regular and a bus was waiting heading to Vila, the old town. Not much of it's character left and I’m sure the cruiseship customers didn’t help, but headed north along the beaches for a couple of places I’d seen on the net in Santa Teresa – great location right on a nice unspoilt beach but still a bit cloudy & weedy for my tastes – one 350 (nearly ...

Apparently they like to hang out in the trees around our faculty and it is not uncommon for them for ‘fall out’ (or pounce?) on innocent, unsuspecting students walking to class... ... we made sure we caught the Brazil Chilli match in the local bar!! It was great to see everyone in their yellow and green colours, along with their kids, grandparents and dogs!

During the five days we visited some amazing beaches, did a spot of surfing, ate like royalty and generally spoilt rotten.

Sam and Renato love to travel so decided to join us on our next stop in Paraty!
