      ... found out at dinner it was Bills birthday –he “didn’t want to make a fuss”, but make a fuss is what we do best, and we were able to quickly order him a birthday cake which was brought to the table by singing waiters - Thanks MSC for being so obliging at such short notice!       ... we are bloody starving out here! Free hostel breakfast in the morning then trying to last out until 7pm to eat... Ģ250 a week budget is looking doubtful! Buzios is lovely, much safer atmosphere than Rio and the men don't seem as 'rapey', which is always nice!

      ... who was sadly flying home. I then went up to Santa Teresa for lunch before meeting Andrew to go for a walk around centro.       ... how we found the energy to visit the cloud shrouded Christ the Redeemer and the Sugar Loaf Mountain cable car, but we did - honest! Then suddenly it was time to catch a taxi to Galileo international airport for the 13 hour flight home which surprisingly only crosses a two hour time difference.
