... The clotted cream was just as delicious and, combined with jam created the most delicious cream tea, in a completely different atmosphere to the Lion Inn. Surrounded in antiques, with very quaint and delicate china, this cream tea was far more that of the stereotypical English, and just as delicious: a birthday treat for the birthday girl, oh and her nephews.

... change rooms. 7 Sept - hire bicycles and cycle in Hyde Park. London has this great bike hire system where you hire a bike from a rack in the street using a credit card in a parking meter type machine. We headed our different ways this morning, both on the tube, I got off at Green Park to hit Harrods, Rob went on to St John Wood to hit Lords. Rob enjoyed his Lords tour, the home of cricket. Saw the media centre shaped like a boat designed by a boat builder, the long room, the pavilion, the museum where the ashes live. Wasn't allowed to walk on the ...

      17th May - Saturday

Not a good nights sleep, excited and waiting for the alarm. Shouldn't have worried it went off at four thirty as planed. It is light here at that time of the morning, and another lovely day. Got up and ready, decided not to have breakfast and off we went to the train station. To our suprise we wern't the only silly people up at that time. Our trip went smooth, we were experienced with the underground, it was just ...
