... to Victoria Station on platform 1 so we headed that way. After about 10 minutes Will noticed we were whizzing past stations. We were on an express train to Victoria Station! Bugger! Oh well, we couldn't exactly do anything about it now, so we just enjoyed the ride and changed trains at Victoria Station. Lesson - if you decide to change trains, always double check it's going to actually stop at the station you need!
Leaving the barrier behind us and walking round a loop in the river, we pass through a number of wharfs which have their own kind of urban beauty - we read that Murphy's Wharf is Europe's largest terminal for sea dredged aggregates...fascinating :-). Jack made 15 in the first game, they were in trouble in the second game when he went in so he went for it and made 42. Good to get some runs on the board today. Back to Durham for us in the morning, looking forward to getting "home", staying in a new place "The Honest Lawyer", who knew there was such a thing ...
