... Night 4 - close enough to heaven! I'll Everyone else! Here we go! Jess and I took in a wonderful supper at Verdi before the show, the italian restaurant inside the hall. Great spot, ️pizza was very very nice. Onto the show. - We found our seats around 7 and really tried to take in ️just how close we were, dead centre, 2nd row.. I couldn't believe it, and Jess couldn't either. Andy played a wicked good set, and even said thank ️you to me when I ...

... Wales. The scenery was spectacular, the walks were incredible and the castles fantastic. The welsh section of our welsh gap year, was over. Yet the fun and games were still continuing, I guess they always do with Anne. When we eventually made our way to Bromsgrove for lunch (we had thought it a brief dash off the motorway, but in reality was much further) we spent a while at the rather confusing parking meter, finding green buttons that weren't green and all sorts of ...

... ugly as hell. Its exposed girders and yellow crane on top are a design feature to make it look unfinished - random? There are much nicer buildings around it including the Canary Wharf Tower. We also pass something which looks like a 'slice' of a ship, no idea what it is, other than...bizarre!

We are almost at Greenwich and a large fancy sign indicates that we are crossing the Meridian Line. It also tells us that the Thames Barrier is only two miles away...really? We ...

... We both however loved the dish I ordered which was Vermicelli with chargrilled pork. Yum!

The staff were beyond nervous and ran around like headless chickens as you could see they were desperate for the place to succeed. I really hope they make it happen because the place had a lovely atmosphere, was a bit quirky and different and for my part the food really good.

Fingers crossed we go back to the hotel tonight and everythings sorted!

... stumbling into the wrong place. 25 Aug - A rainy public holiday thought we'd take a walk to the Natural History Museum. The queue was something else, I've never seen anything like it, we gave up and went home. 27 Aug - took a bus trip to Stonehenge and Bath. 28 Aug - took on the London shopping crowds and the Tube. A truly frightening experience at "rush hour" on Oxford St. 29 Aug - Natural History Museum all day. In the evening drinks and food were set up in the ...
