      ... through Sayers Park, we seem to be walking through a rather depressed looking housing estate. Downbeat as it looks, the place does have a few claims to fame...Elizabeth I knighted Sir Francis Drake on The Golden Hind here, Peter the Great once rented Sayers Court incognito here, Henry VIII set up the Royal Naval Dockyard here. Also, playright and poet, Christopher Marlowe was buried in the churchyard here after being killed in a pub brawl.

      ... lake for a quick Pimms before strolling back down around the left side of the palace Rrto St James Park. On the way we saw lots of monuments, they do like a good statue here but we did see the Memorial to the Australians killed in the wars which was impressive.

      With the help of our trusty Find my IPhone app we were able to track Jacks phone again and after wandering into St James Park we saw they were heading our way so we caught up with them and went back ...

      ... it was booked out for those two nights. Russ was speaking to the ladies in the office, worked his charm (could have been the haircut) and they have said we can stay the whole time, we don't have to move. So we set up the annex for the first time and we are very happy with it, the extra space will be good.
