    Relaxing stay

We were very happy with the accomodation. The staff try so hard to make your stay enjoyable. Not quite always getting it right but this would be because of our accent when communicating and our culture differences. Everything is close by with pleanty of service to transport you where ever you need to go. The secuity police make things feel very safe and do it with a smile on their face. If we have to fault anything it would be the price they charge for drinks and if you stay as long as we did you find the menu does not change. Meals prices are a bit high also.

A travel blog entry by felix.wenger on Oct 12, 2014

Our hotel is so close to the Falls that you can see the mist from the Falls from our room and from the dining area. So the ride there was short.
Our driver and tour guide was very nice. He actually took my handbag from me and carried it. I told him he was like having my husband around. As nice as he was it …

    Day 3 Saturday, February 14, 2014 Valentine's Day

Today the day started out bad but turned out good. The Johannesburg International airport is huge. Our driver parked the car so he could bring our luggage in. That was nice, however, it meant a lot of walking which I wasn’t up to. As soon as we checked in I asked for a wheelchair. Our …

I have to buy a second Zambian visa, as I forgot to get a multi-entry one on the way in. Another $50. And I'm going to be in Chobe on Thursday with my Gap group, but I couldn't pass up the chance to stalk animals with Laura, instead of a bunch of total strangers.  When we're back, we ...

We took a cab to the Victoria Falls Hotel and enjoyed some drinks and a pleasant lunch on the shaded patio. The Victoria Falls Hotel is an elegant British Colonial Hotel of the type I grew to love during my ...
