Day 42 - Bari Italy

... Adriatic coast, located soth-east of the regions river mouth. We caught the MSC shuttle bus to the city and explored the shops. We did not realise majority of the shops close between lunch and 5pm. They then reopen for the night. After 3 hours of city exploring we caught the shuttle back to the ship, went to the gym, tried the snack meals at the buffet, explored the ship and then went to the restaurant for dinner at 9pm. ... town this weekend

2. There was a parade (we missed it)

3. There would be go-karts (friendlier than the Pista ones!)

... as being English speaking, but I can assure you that none of them really did at all. They couldn't understand what I wanted and just gave me the phone. I tried everything I could think of and Brittany tried googling how to do it, to no avail.

Eventually (by this time it was about 10am) we remembered we had our appointments at 11:30am at the spa and that the woman who ran it spoke English really well. Once we got there we ...

Our first full day in Arbatax

A travel blog entry by malloryharvie on Jun 21, 2014

Our first full day in Arbatax was pretty good and we spent the majority of our time at the spa and wellness centre at the resort. We had paid the extra money for admittance when we booked, and had fallen in love with it.

We had to catch a semi-hourly bus from our hotel within the resort up through the wildlife park and to the spa. The wildlife park there was wonderful and it was just wide open space that extended up the mountain and around the spa. ...
