      Let me start by saying this was more of a science excursion than a camp... Wednesday dawned bright and early...okay, well not really.  Our journey began as school started at 9 am.  How else do you travel when at a private school, but by luxury coach, of course!  38 students, 5 teachers, 3 parents (and a partridge in a pear tree) all excited to embark on a wonderful trip to the Abruzzo National Park.       Back in sulmona. Car now getting repaired so with no car decided to go walkabout for a few days while weather hot. Thinking of going upto top of mountain tomorrow....       Beatrice, the bar lady tony is so popular with grabbed me while walking past with Rosie and asked if tony could look at cooker for old lady. Went off in possey of old ladies to her house.
