'We do want to be travellers, to experience the land and the people as it is, but the tourist in us keeps getting in the way.' 'LKY paid for this trip. We couldn't have afforded it otherwise.' 'One chempaka.' 'Walk quickly, walk quickly.' 'Considering it has been fifty days, we haven't fought all that much.' 'We have been so blessed.' 'Do you have lavender ...

... very beautiful. The flowers had mostly finished but even so it was lovely. Back on the ferry to Varenna, via Bellagio and walk to the train station. To get back to our station we need to go to Lecco and then change trains. Pierluigi kindly picks us up from the station again and we get take away pizzas for dinner. Phew what a day. But at least the weather was was a beautiful sunny day and we managed to see a very beautiful section of Lake ...
