We departed Milan by local rail La Spezia to Monterosso, near Cinque Terre.
Train Number: icp665, 1st Class. Depart Milan 12:10pm, arrive at Monterosso at 3:03pm.
We walked from the station to find Hotel Palma at Monterosso about 1 block back from the coast.

We were slightly frustrated at the continuance of rain. At one point we just sat underneath ...

A guided tour of the rooftop of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II was organised, which is located adjacent to the Piazza del Duomo and Duomo di Milano. So we were up on the rooftop, watching the ...

On the bus to Lagura Switzerland, free time for coffee and shopping in the markets. Weather is very cold here. We took the bus to the cable car up the mountain called Monte Tamaro. Beautiful views on the way up of the valley below, snow on the alps here. We had a set lunch menu and a walk around at the top, threw ...

    ... all around!

Our first stop was to Lake Como (one of Italy's largest lakes). Naturally, we were stuck in traffic for ages trying to get down to the lake (clearly a popular destination). We were stuck infront of a 2 person BMW with a balding man and his bearded friend. We kept seeing them laughing in the wing mirror. We weren't sure if they were laughing at us or if our bag straps were hanging out of the boot causing their amusement. We managed to loose them at ...
