... the morning sun. They have created an inland beach and swimming area for both swimming and sun bathing. I had breakfast and much needed coffee overlooking the river and finally managed to connect to some internet to let people know I got here. Brisbane have a hop on and off ferry which darts across the river which is free to use, so went on a nice little cruise and got to see the story bridge from the water (see photo of Douglas) I hopped off at the nearest stop to ...

... home was long as I was stuck in customs check for a while as I had to get all my bags looked through because I had so many bags full, but once it was over the drive home was very relaxed. On my way home I thought about my highlights such as well everything, I though the whole trip was amazing and nothing was disappointing.

I was right, Limpopo is perfect for a school tour. I'm so grateful for this work ...

... constrictor pit to experience up close and personal these massive snakes I got my photo taken with one too! The main attraction in the reptile room is Samson, a huge reticulated python. Samson is currently 15 feet long and takes four zoo handlers to hold. A visit to the zoo would definitely help some students to over come their fears, it sure helped me conquer mine.

... half an hour before deciding we had to find a bed for the night, we were so tired. We walked to the taxi rank and took a cab into the city, we got dropped off at the YHA on Wellington St. costing us $45!!! Luckily we managed to get a room at the hostel, a massive $125 later! It was out of our budget but it felt like the sensible thing to do and the second we got in our room we knew we had made the right decision. ...

... it was off to security where I set of the alarms because my headband had a metal core.Oops! No harm done, the staff were very friendly and took it all in their stride! Then there was a significant pause while we waited in the boarding lounge for some tardy fellow passengers. Finally we were invited aboard. I always love lift-off and never feel like I'm truly on holidays until the plane is in the air.
