... arrived at Pisa San Rossore we didn't have a clue where we were going! We knew we needed to go "down the underpass" and we had a googlemap print out showing the main roads, the station and the campsite (all of which were very close to each other) but there was nothing to show how the station and the underpass were connected. ... got charged 5 Euros each to walk in a National Park. After lunch we moved on to Riomaggiore for a bit more R&R and were glad that we decided not to do any of the walks as the sweat was just rolling down our backs doing nothing. From Riomaggiore we visited Portovenere which we thought probably the most diverse one of our stops as it also had a fortress. But by then the heat really sapped our energy and we didn't do much sightseeing ...
