... Undara is renowned for its lava tubes, possibly the longest in the world at 123 km. The lava tubes formed when the Undara volcano erupted about 190,000 years ago spewing lava across the landscape. The molten rock flowed down the gently sloping terrain. The flow was slow enough that the surface of the lava crusted over insulating and forming a casing for the flowing molten lava within. The casing solidified and the lava flowed out the ...

... at this time of the day and it really didn't help that the crew were playing the Jaws theme music over the PA system as we were getting ready! Headed back down on the Skyrail. Got to the bottom but still had plenty of time, so Ari had a look through the gift shop and we got a sandwhich.

We got taken back to the Jack. Went and had showers and then went for tea. Had the chicken, wasn't great.

... on the road. Queue the most terrifying 30 minutes of my Cairns time. The woman turned out to a be prophet, travelling over Australia, told where to go by her dreams and spreading her prophecy. She did tell me it, it rhymed and said something about paying for your sins and not everyone's your friend, it wasn't a very happy prophecy I can remember. She also claimed to have written to the queen two weeks before Diana's death to tell her Diana's prophecy, 'god wasn't happy ...
