... in the city and headed back to the apartment.

From there we finished settling in and I am now blogging. Doug is snoozing and we are overall awesome. I hope everyone is doing awesome.

Other Side Notes:

Fitbit updates – so far I have not had a day under 15,000 steps.

I enjoyed Venice much more than I thought I would. It is such a unique city.

Doug is awesome. Duh.

We have no Wifi in this apartment ...

... directly below us because we went down earlier to deposit our bags for the day and saw a very extravagant ticket booth and the bag check. But as we went down to collect our bags, we realized... "this is not the train station. ****. ...Where is the train station?" So we go back up to the shops and ask a lady where the station is and, not speaking English, she kind of mimes to walk in "that" direction. So we did. And we did so at record pace with fifty pounds of luggage ...

... relaxing, we decided to have a full meal, found a restaurant with a gorgeous view and watched the sun go down. We ended up starting a conversation with a girl from New Zealand, and talked for the next 3+ hours - it was close to 10:30 I think when we put a stop to it, but at no time did we feel hurried by the waitress - she pretty much ignored us... in a good way tho.
