        ... just
        great fun.

after about 20 minutes I arrived into the wonderful town of Tasch. Here I now
had to leave my bike and catch a train to Zermatt as Zermatt is a no vehicle

walked around Tasch for a while and it sure is prepared for visitors parking as
almost every street has a large car park.

I bought my return train ticket to Zermatt and boarded one of the shuttle
trains. This Matterhorn - Gotthard ...

I have been trying to post an ad on Gumtree to sell the beast for the last few days with much frustration as it won't post. Lucky I'm not on a tight ...

Before driving out of Lauterbrunnen, we stopped for bread, cheese and beverages, hoping to picnic in some spot with beautiful views. The day became colder as we drive up toward the pass and was very windy, but we did find a spot on the other side of ...

... to a fairytale palace in the heart of the ice. Here glittering ice crystals and shimmering ice sculptures danced before our eyes. A few of the group were becoming a little breathless so we returned to the restaurant where Chris had organized glasses of Prosecco ( my favourite) overlooking the mountains. Perfection! Thursday and our last day here. Quite cool and windy as we started out towards the gondola station for a ride up to Trogener Steg then to ...

... Lucerne. As we travel in our comfortable tour coach I imagine those who commute to work and elsewhere on all the islands of Seattle; this is similar. It is nothing to live at one end of the lake and come into the city of Lucerne for work and recreation. The lake is like a three leaf clover. Traffic was light as we drove through villages, towns with their spired church steeples, and again more of the lovely flowers filled window boxes outside of homes. ...
