    Today was a bit of a test run for doing our walks and hikes through the cities of europe we will visit in the next couple of weeks. Today we were going to find out way through the old city, through the central squares and then up through the covered arches all the way to the Basilica San Lucca.     HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE Today is Steve's birthday and he is a very happy man. Today we have a tour booked of the Ducati Factory, 11:00. Kiss kiss hug hug before breakfast, then down to the breakfast room at beautiful Bologna. All our breakfasts have been fantastic and have been included in with the hotel.     ... and coffee. We're back at the apartment planning our afternoon. Two loads of laundry done, just a good, relaxing day.

    I took some pictures of the kitchen. It's pretty amazing, very compact. I especially like the way they've hidden the dishwasher and washing machine.
