After a good sleep in our air conditioned bungalow we had homemade breakfast and caught a 9 am shuttle from the campground directly to the Vatican. Bit of an early start again today to catch an 8:30 train to Milan en route to Rome. Had breakfast on the train using groceries we picked up yesterday. In Milan we needed to get from one station to another in order to catch our connecting train to Rome. Easiest option was the Metro.
