... their economic power. We climbed up 218 stairs to the top of one of the towers that is now a museum and surveyed the whole town. You had a birds eye view in every direction for miles. We then meandered through many lovely streets packed with tourist shops and a market in the centre square. We enjoyed an authentic Italian lunch in a little square with live Italian music.
