... crowd, Campari spritzes, and the best HUGE plate of a cichetti sampler possible.

The sampler is packed with the same fish that we see at the famed Rialto Pescheria Mercato (open air fish market) the next morning. We can literally taste the sea as we munch our cichetti, and sip our spritzes.

As we neared Venice station on the train, the city slowly began to reveal itself in all it splendor. It looked like a floating city out of a fairy tale or even the scene from some end of the world film. I was awestruck! As we got off the train and exited the station we were immediately struck by ...

For our last day in Venice, Michelle and I toured the city again. Our first stop was Piazza San Marco, which was an awesome square. The most impressive thing in the square was Basilica di San Marco. It was a huge church and the inside was beautiful! The ceilings were painted gold and had something else on there because it sparkled! We walked along and saw the Santa Maria Della Salute, which I think is the largest church ...
