Today was suppose to be 'the' day for wind this week according to Wind Guru, but hey it was wrong, even less then yesterday, resulting in no kites what so ever being out on the water. Highly disappointing but hey if a sport relies on the weather can't really complain. So vegged on the beach, did very little soaking up the sun, view and atmosphere. Maybe tomorrow wind guru is wrong and there actually is wind when it says there ...

... over 5km of bay to surf in so plenty of space for a beginner like me. The club itself well equipped with friendly staff, so didn't feel that being inept at staying on the board was an issue, certainly helped the confidence. After a decent enough flight we arrived at Lemnos airport, which is a part time Airforce base so bit weird seeing fighter jets and helicopters on the apron. ... our first time. Myrina is a small fishing town, and as it was Sunday, the locals were out and about, eating,drinking and enjoying the sunshine - so we decided to join them! We found a great little restaurant - feasted on fresh sardines, saganaki prawns and a few beers, all for the grand total of $28 euros! The beers alone in Australia would have cost that amount.
