... at Amalienborg Palace, the Royal Family's winter residence - the flag was up outside the Crown Prince's home, indicating he was home, but the Queen's flag was down. However, when we passed a square later in the morning, we saw a military parade, and there she was, dressed in blue.

We drove around the old district, learning some of it's history, before going to Tivoli Gardens, the second oldest amusement park ...

It's Wed. So it must be Copenhagen.

... use this fork and drag them from their shells-- they would finally come out with a plopping sound--rather off putting--and I found them somewhat fishy tasting. I had a glass of their house white wine (smelled like cat urine so not my favorite!).

We headed back to our room as the jet lag is getting to us. Tomorrow we will explore Mechelen some more and then head northwest to the Netherlands and the town of Eindhoven.

... is huge and very busy. We have a few hours to kill so a good chance to catch up on our mail while we wait. $12.00 for two hot chocolates so it could've expensive wait. Yesterday we anchored off Helsingborg, Sweden and were tendered off by life boats. We did a tour called twin cities and Hamlets Castle. Our tour bus drove onto the ferry which was amazing.
