... and ipads. Previously I had to rig up each time by lifting a lounge seat, setting up the inverter by hooking up to the batteries stored there and then putting it all away when the job was done. We now can utilise this feature any time, provided we have ample reserves in our battery.

... on the bag, generating a lot of interest from the camp vendors, a number of whom offered to sew it up for us. Stephen decided to get one of them to finish the project and gave him a simple diagram of what he wanted, language again being a challenge. The vendor kept saying “I know, I know” but we are never sure - let’s hope that it comes back correct.

... a few very funny comments about campervan life, apparently (some) Germans refer to our type of van as "yoghurt pottles" and he was scathing of the campsite saying it was just like a cemetery. He was of course staying there himself as well before heading home. He was a delightful character and an inspiration to us.

... in the restaurant Igrane in the oasis of Tiout, we drove the remaining kilometers to Agadir. At long last goats pose for us high up in the argan trees! I so much wanted a photograph to sent to my "little" sister Hilda that I care for so much and often look after when she is very ill. Hilda, born 1931, nearly totally matches all the characteristics of her Chinese Zodiac sign!

The hotel offered a pool, pool bar and sun loungers situated in shelter from the winds that Morocco is intended to. We spent most of our time there as there wasn't a great deal that Morocco had to offer out of season; car hire and taxis were too expensive and dangerous - the roads are used for nothing but bumper to bumper rage, and horn blasting.

Agadir was beautiful, the beaches were crisp and warm until midday where the wind picked up ...
