Up early for us to have breakfast. Made it to breakfast in the conservatory as we'd set our alarms as we'd agreed to go off the boat with Clive and Patricia, two of our table companions, and were meeting them at 9.30. Free shuttle bus into town. After we'd got past the persistent taxi drivers we had a pleasant stroll. George bought me the compulsory handbag and a silver and coral necklace for our ...

But on the upside the terrain was flat and they gave us a quick escape from the many touts lining the beach boulevard flogging anything from mobile phones to tattoos. But our best discovery here is a Spanish Restaurant, Les Blancs at the entrance to the Marina. The food is fresh and very good, there is wine and beer (as many of the ...

Day 052: Another Moroccan Superhike

... old contact, a successful Berber businessman who I used to tutor in English. He still looks the same—but much more conservative these days, talking about his trip to do the Hajj in Saudi Arabia, rather than his vacations in Paris and Bangkok… Then I continue on to what once was the northeast edge of town.. now there are a scattering of upscale villas and apartment complexes up the hillside…

And with that, I decide to call it a ...
